Yuriko J. Sugimura

Senior Counsel

Yuriko (“Jane”) was born in Bridgeton, New Jersey and attended Rutgers University. After law school, she clerked for the Honorable Toshimi Sodetani in Circuit Court, State of Hawaii. She entered private practice in 1978 and practiced at the Bendet Fidell Sugimura for 41 years before joining the CIPN firm. Jane’s many years of practice in landlord-tenant, real estate, and commercial litigation in district, circuit, and federal courts make her a pragmatic and effective negotiator and, ultimately, problem-solver, whether vigorously representing her clients in litigation or in negotiating and closing a transaction.
