Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Mr. Ozawa graduated with honors from Kamehameha Schools, earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Southern California in 2005 and spent his last year of law school as a visiting student at the University of Hawaii, William S. Richardson School of Law. Received J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in 2010; Recipient of the Paul A. Gargano scholarship; ABA intra-school Negotiations Competition winner; Judicial extern for the Honorable Leslie E. Kobayashi of the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii; Volunteer for the New Orleans Legal Assistance Project assisting low income New Orleans residents displaced after Hurricane Katrina; Vice-President of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association; and, Associate Director of Academic Affairs for the Student Bar Association.
Trevor was elected and held the District 4 seat of the Honolulu City Council from 2014 through 2018.
