Randyn R. Sugai

Randyn received his J.D. from the University of Hawaii, William S. Richardson School of Law. He received his undergraduate B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Real Estate Finance and a minor in Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California. He is a graduate of Punahou School.
While attending Richardson law school, Randyn served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable R. Mark Browning (Ret.), Chief Judge of the Circuit Court of the First Circuit of the State of Hawaii. Randyn was the recipient of the HSBA Real Property and Financial Services Section C. Jepson Garland Memorial Scholarship Award for his paper – Modification of Honolulu’s Bill 7: How Should the City Council Effectively Address the Affordable Rental Housing Crisis? – which analyzed the impact and effects of Honolulu’s attempt to incentivize the development of affordable rental housing.
Randyn joined the firm in September 2024 where he represents parties in the development of condominium projects and subdivisions, and in the structuring, negotiation and documentation of real property acquisitions, dispositions, and commercial leases.
