Kira M. Kawakami
Kira received her Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Hawaii: Shidler College of Business with a concentration in Finance. There, she was the President and Founder of Delta Sigma Pi, a professional international co-ed business fraternity. She received her Juris Doctorate in 2016, with a concentration in business law, from Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During law school, Kira served on the Moot Court Board where she competed with distinction at the National Health Law Moot Court Competition and the Robert F. Wagner National Labor and Employment Law Moot Court Competition. She also served as Vice-Justice for Phi Alpha Delta, a professional co-ed law fraternity. Prior to going into private practice, Kira externed at the Hawaii Intermediate Court of Appeals, under Judge Reifurth, and interned at the United States Department of Justice, U.S. Trustee Program.
