Ilayda Ossanna’s practice primarily consists of construction law, contracts, commercial law, securities fraud, insurance, products liability, landlord-tenant disputes, and trade secrets. Ms. Ossanna practices both in the state and federal jurisdictions.
Ms. Ossanna worked as an associate attorney in Istanbul after graduating from Istanbul University, School of Law, selected by the Turkish Bar Association as the most prestigious law school in Turkey. Prior to being admitted to the Hawaii State Bar as an attorney, Ms. Ossanna had five years of experience working in the legal field in Hawaii focusing on workers’ compensation, and employment and labor law. In late 2020, she graduated from William S. Richardson School of Law, where she revived the Lawyers Against Sexual Violence student organization and served as its President, and co-founded the Law and Business Organization and served as its Chief Operating Officer. Ms. Ossanna was admitted to the Hawaii State Bar in early 2021.
Ms. Ossanna finds that her law degrees from two different countries provide her with an extensive understanding of litigation strategies.
