John concentrates his practice in the areas of complex litigation including antitrust, product liability and environmental defense.

John was admitted to the Hawaii Bar in 1973 after graduating from University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Arts degree and receiving his law degree from Boston University in 1965. John served in the U.S. Marine Corps, Judge Advocate from 1966 to 1973 and was honorably discharged with the rank of Major.

John is a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

John is an active sailor and member of Kaneohe Yacht Club where he is a former commodore.
